About this policy
Delta Carrier Group, Inc. (“Delta,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) explains in this policy how we handle personal information in connection with our website and inquiries made through it. This policy does not replace separate notices, authorizations, or agreements that apply to driver applications, employment, owner-operator onboarding, transportation services, or other business relationships.
Information you provide
When you contact us or request information, we collect the information you choose to provide. Depending on the form or communication, this may include your name, company name, telephone number, email address, selected department, subject, message, and information about your business or transportation needs. We also receive information in follow-up communications.
If you apply for an office or administrative position through the application form on our Careers page, we collect the details you enter, such as your name, contact information, location, the position you are applying for, your message, and the résumé you attach.
Messages you send through our contact and quote forms are held on our server in sealed form until they have been handed to our mail system, and for a limited period afterwards so that we can confirm delivery; they are then deleted from the website. A message that cannot be delivered is kept until a member of our staff has handled it.
Please provide only information reasonably needed for your request. Do not send Social Security numbers, passwords, payment-card details, medical records, or other sensitive personal information through a general website inquiry. Use the designated secure application or business process when that information is specifically required.
Technical information and browser storage
When you use our website, the systems used to host, deliver, and protect it may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, referring page where provided, request time, and security or error events. We use this information to operate the website, diagnose problems, and detect or prevent misuse.
Our website also keeps its own visit statistics. A small first-party script records the page viewed, the site that referred you, any campaign labels in the link you followed, a coarse device type, and events such as opening a tutorial or using the application link. It does not set cookies, does not send information to advertising or analytics companies, and identifies your visit by a code derived from your connection details that changes every day. These records are deleted after 90 days and are available only to authorized Delta personnel. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, the script does not run and the visit is not recorded. Separately from these statistics, our server keeps short-lived rate-limiting records and standard server logs as described above.
The website uses browser storage to remember certain interface choices, including whether the introductory animation has already been shown. You can manage or clear browser storage through your browser settings. Disabling storage may affect some website behavior. Browser settings do not necessarily stop all technical processing needed to deliver and protect a website.
When you choose to open a third-party application, link, or externally hosted feature, that provider may receive technical information about the connection and information you submit to it. Review its privacy notice before providing information.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries; route requests to the appropriate Delta team; discuss requested services or business opportunities; maintain related correspondence and business records; operate, support, and secure our systems; investigate misuse; and meet applicable legal obligations or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
A general inquiry does not enroll you in a promotional text-message campaign. We do not use the act of submitting a contact form as consent for unrelated marketing.
When information is disclosed
Information may be available to authorized Delta personnel and service providers that support activities such as website hosting, email delivery, communications, security, and record storage. These providers may process information to support those activities, subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process; protect people, property, rights, or system security; investigate fraud or misuse; or work with professional advisers on a related matter. Information may also be disclosed at your direction or in connection with a proposed or completed business transaction, subject to applicable confidentiality and legal protections.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Driver applications and third-party services
Driver applications are submitted through IntelliApp, provided by Tenstreet, rather than through the general Contact form. The application platform presents its own privacy information and any required notices or authorizations. Delta may receive application information to evaluate an applicant and administer the application process, subject to applicable law and the notices governing that process.
When our Careers form accepts office and administrative applications, they are received into Delta's business systems, which are provided by Google Workspace, where authorized personnel review them.
Third-party websites and services may have their own practices. A link does not mean that this policy governs all of that provider's activities. This does not limit Delta's responsibilities for information Delta receives or processes.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, considering the nature of the inquiry, the business relationship, security needs, applicable recordkeeping requirements, and legal claims or holds. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete it or render it non-identifying, subject to applicable legal requirements and backup-management practices.
Some records are kept longer. Our website's security audit log is an append-only record of staff actions and of the handling of form deliveries; it stores a keyed, non-reversible code of the network address involved rather than the address itself, and it is not automatically deleted. Our website's error log keeps only its most recent entries. Encrypted backups of the website are kept for a limited number of copies.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and the systems involved. No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. This statement does not limit any security duties or rights established by law.
Your choices and requests
You may decline to provide information, although we may then be unable to address your request. You may contact us to ask about information you have provided or to request access, correction, or deletion, subject to applicable law and lawful retention requirements.
Depending on your location and whether a particular privacy law applies, you may have additional rights, including rights concerning copies of information, certain processing or disclosures, authorized agents, or an appeal of a denied request. We will handle requests and any legally required opt-out preference signals as required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity or authority before fulfilling a request. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Use the Contact page, call the number below, or write to our office and identify your request as a privacy matter. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information. We will explain any applicable limits on a request as required by law.
Children and website audience
Our website is intended for business contacts and adult applicants. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through it. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can review and address the matter.
Our operations are based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and in locations where the service providers supporting the relevant activity operate, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Policy updates and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The date shown with the policy identifies its latest update. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law; an update does not by itself authorize a use of previously collected information that otherwise requires consent.
