0:03 Welcome to Drivewyze PreClear. Drivewyze is the nation's largest weigh station
0:07 bypass service and provides bypasses at fixed weigh stations and mobile inspection
0:11 sites.
0:13 When using Drivewyze, you should mount your device in the cab where you will be able
0:17 to clearly see the Drivewyze driving instructions.
0:23 This is how Drivewyze works at sites participating in the Drivewyze bypass service.
0:28 When you are two miles away from a participating weigh station or inspection site,
0:32 you will receive a visual and audible alert.
0:35 You will receive a second alert when you are one mile away.
0:38 Sites that are participating in the Drivewyze bypass service will be identified by a
0:42 banner.
0:42 If you have subscribed to Drivewyze, you will then receive a driving instruction to
0:46 either bypass or pull-in.
0:48 The bypass screen has a green light and the pull-in screen has a red light.
0:52 Your chances of getting a bypass are largely determined by your carrier's safety
0:56 score.
0:57 Bypass rates vary from site to site and from state to state based on screening rules

1:06 If a weigh station or mobile inspection site is closed, you will receive a bypass
1:11 driving instruction.
1:14 This is how Drivewyze works at sites not participating in the Drivewyze bypass
1:18 service.
1:19 At sites not participating in the Drivewyze bypass service, you will still receive
1:23 two mile and one mile heads up notifications.
1:25 These notifications will include the words non-Drivewyze.
1:29 At these non-Drivewyze sites, you will only ever receive a driving instruction to
1:33 follow road signs.
1:34 You will not receive bypasses at non-Drivewyze sites.
1:40 In addition to providing bypasses at weigh stations, Drivewyze also provides
1:44 bypasses at temporary or mobile inspection sites.
1:47 At locations where mobile inspection sites are known to occasionally operate, you
1:51 will receive a heads up notification.
1:53 Just in case a mobile site might be operational.
1:56 Note that some of these occasionally operating mobile sites are located at truck
2:00 stops, rest stops, or at otherwise unmarked roadside locations.
2:04 Drivewyze is the only bypass service in the Drivewyze area.
2:06 There is no bypass service that can give you a bypass at an operational mobile site.
2:11 This is how Drivewyze works at sites with integrated electronic road signs.
2:15 At some sites, your Drivewyze driving instruction will not appear on your device
2:19 screen, but will instead appear on an electronic road sign.
2:23 In these cases, you will receive two mile and one mile notifications, followed by an
2:28 instruction to follow road signs.
2:30 If
2:37 you opt in to participate in the Drivewyze Florida Agricultural Bypass Program, you
2:41 may receive a conditional bypass instruction.
2:44 This means you can bypass the ag site unless you are hauling agriculture,
2:48 aquaculture, horticulture, livestock, or a refrigerated unit.
3:00 If you are ever asked by law enforcement to show your last bypass command, you can
3:05 do so by tapping the recall icon.
3:07 The most recent instruction will be shown at the top of the recall screen.
3:13 Drivewyze is the largest bypass service in the country, with more sites and more
3:17 states than any other service.
3:19 But it doesn't provide bypasses at all sites in all states.
3:22 And some states have specific rules regarding bypass restrictions.
3:25 So it's important to be familiar with Drivewyze's coverage area, as well as state
3:30 -specific bypass restrictions.
